April 23, 2026 Club Meeting

It will be our pleasure to have Darris Howe, one of our own club members, speak to us on April 23rd.
Mr. Howe’s career reflects both intellectual leadership and creative passion. As the former President of the Utah Campus of the University of Phoenix, he played a key role in shaping educational programs and supporting adult student success.
He is also a professional and award winning photographer. Several of his portraits of aboriginal artists are currently on display at the Church History Museum and his prize-winning image of Greenland just completed a six month showing at Millcreek City Hall.
A highlight of Mr. Howe’s photography excursions was a trip to Kenya taken in April 2025. He will take us on a visual journey sharing images, stories, and the challenges of capturing professional images. Through his lens, we’ll encounter remarkable wildlife, sweeping landscapes, and the unique beauty of one of the world’s most iconic destinations.
It promises to be a fun and insightful presentation.
